2 Fingers – Stick ‘em Up @ Acoustic Sundays Summer Sessions: July

Join 2 Fingers, at Acoustic Sundays’ second installment at one of London’s finest outdoor live music community events on 3rd July as the Summer Sessions, return to Northchurch Terrace, De Beauvoir, Hackney.

Fish finger fiends can get their ‘freak’ on with 2 Fingers’ much sought after array of sandwiches – packed with sustainably sourced and responsibly caught North Atlantic cod loin steaks with a Panko crumb on award-winning artisan handmade salt and pepper crusted bloomer.

If fish fingers don’t float your boat? Enter the ‘BA Baracus Bean Buster Burger’ (v), lightly spiced with melted cheese and a zingy home-made salsa. For your bit on the side check out the deliciously more-ish 2 Fingers Sweet Potato Fries with a light dusting of sweet smoked paprika.

Expect a hot mix of emerging raw talent to get things warmed up with the Open-Mic session followed by a sweltering line up of artists and musicians that’ll be sure to get your mercury rising!

Setting the Acoustic Sunday stage on fire will be the likes of Lewis Barfoot and her band as
part of her Summer Sundays 2016 UK tour – she will be performing new material from the critically acclaimed launch of her recent EP ‘Catch Me’.

Singer-songwriter Clare Birkett, joins us with influences ranging from the folk sounds of Bob Dylan and Laura Marling to trip-hop, whilst Joe Garvey’s witty songs draw inspiration by from hip‐hop and elements of nu-folk.

London-based band Bal De Bourdon will be performing original arrangements of music from France, the Channel Islands and Cornwall, with a penchant for songs rich in melody, drama and stories. Award winning stand-up, improv-comedian, James Ross makes a welcome return as your MC with his unique take on life and a refreshing dose of comical wit and satire.

If all this has got you feeling parched, the Sensibly Priced Pop-up Bar will be serving a selection of locally produced brews from London Fields Brewery, as well as two ‘tipples of choice ‘ this month – jugs of home-made Sangria and Pimms as well as a selection of wine and soft drinks.

Admission is by voluntary donation with all proceeds going to keep this unique community based project alive. Remaining dates for summer Sessions are confirmed as 7th August & 4th September, so stick ‘em up with 2 Fingers at Acoustic Sundays Summer Sessions – July!

Doors open at 2pm, music begins at 2.30pm and ends at 7:00pm
